Best of all, in this era of instant gratification, there are 52 Cyber Girls per year. A Cyber Girl is unveiled on cyber.playboy.com every week. Members of the Cyber Club choose the Cyber Girl of the Month. The democratically selected winner is then brought back to the studio to be shot for photos and video. Cyber Girls are drawn from worldwide searches that result in thousands of applications and test shoots per year. The first Cyber Girl, Stephanie Heinrich, was crowned in September 2000.
